Walnut Milk

Walnut Milk
Many people choose to remove dairy because they don't tolerate it, while others do so because they prefer not to have it or are vegan.

Whatever the reason, nut milks have grown very popular in the last decade or so.

The most common nut milk is almond, however, I have recently been reacting to almonds, so I wanted to make something a little different.

Unlike other nuts, walnuts are an incredible source of Omega 3's, which are vital for physical and mental health.

So, I figured why not try making some walnut milk!

It is super easy and takes all of 5 minutes.

You will see there is a little stevia in here simply because walnuts are naturally sweet like almonds.

If you aren't sticking to low-carb, you could swap it for 1-2 dates. Up to you!

Ingredients:

1 cup Walnuts
1 litre Filtered Water
Dash Cinnamon
Pinch Celtic Sea Salt
5 drops NuNaturals Vanilla Stevia

3. Place a colander over a bowl and place a cheesecloth or nut milk bag on top

5. Pour the strained milk into an airtight container
6. Use within 3-5 days
